Looking for Land

The process of locating the perfect piece of land has begun. We are headed to the northern end of San Saba county tomorrow to look at three perspective ranches. One of them, the one I am truly interested in, has some river front on the Colorado River. The dream is still a ways off however, we are determined to find some land within a three hour driving time from our current residence. This will allow for work weekends and time to get the retreat operational between now and the time Tom chooses to retire. Keep your fingers crossed that we find our little piece of peace.
