Naked Room...
Bar-B-Que, family, and a combination of clear blue skies and a storm that makes you shiver. That is the way we spent our weekend. The Bar-B-Que was provided by the Hext Volunteer Fire Department as a thank you to the community for the support. The storm came barrelling in around 11:00 and was done by 12:30 leaving a crystal clear blue West Texas sky. The mud from the storm kept us from working outside so we worked on the panelling in the living room and finished with a naked room. No more panelling, no more carpet and no more popcorn on the ceiling. Ready for a new beautiful suit of clean, crisp paint, that is after we sand down the existing drywall and put up new drywall where the was none behind the panelling.
